  • When we began this project, our goal was to design an integrated amplifier that could satisfy the needs of the world's most discriminating music lovers. The Balanced Audio Technology VK-300x exceeds our highest expectations in this regard, and can form the nucleus of the finest high-end music system. The VK-300x provides a robust 150 watts per channel into 8 Ohm loads and easily doubles this output into 4 Ohm loads.

  • Ultimate Flexibility

  • Not only can the VK-300x form the nucleus for outstanding music reproduction, it can be configured to meet almost any system need. Add remote control for the ultimate in convenience. Specify the built-in phono module and you'll obtain superb reproduction of your analog record collection from either moving magnet or low output moving coil cartridges. Add the musical texture that only tubes can provide by specifying the optional 6922 tube-based front-end. Or choose the ultimate in sonic performance by adding the optional 6H30 SuperTube front-end gain stage. The extraordinary versatility of Balanced Audio Technology's VK-300x allows it to perform without peer and thus truly stand apart from the crowd.

  • Preeminent Design

  • Many integrated amplifiers offer the benefit of convenience and little more. The VK-300x is different by design. Its circuitry has the same caliber as those found in Balanced Audio Technology high-end components. The VK-300x output stage is a symmetrical bipolar design as used in our award winning VK-6200 multi-channel power amplifier. The VK-300x input stage is configured to the same high standards as our award winning preamplifier line. We are also proud to offer an optional 6H30 SuperTube Special Edition gain stage (based on the one found in the top-of-the-line VK-51SE preamplifier) complete with paper-in-oil signal capacitors. The VK-300x user interface (the same as on our preamplifiers) offers the superb flexibility and ease of use that has set the standard in the industry. Even the VK-R3 remote is machined from a solid block of aluminum. This is an integrated amplifier of preeminent design and pedigree.

Tube Power Amplifiers

VK-75

The VK-75 will replace the classic VK-60 as BAT's new, fully balanced, all-triode, single-ended bridge amplifier. As its name implies, the VK-75 delivers 75 watts per channel into 8 ohms, a desirable 25% increase over the already robust performance of the VK-60. This has been achieved through a complete re-engineering of the power supply, power supply transformer, and circuit design in this exciting new model. While the classic beauty of the VK-60's open faced perspective remains, the VK-75 faceplate becomes a thoroughly updated two-piece black and charcoal design that will complement its stellar performance.

VK-150

The VK-150 is the mono-block version of the VK-75. The VK-150 offers an outstanding 150 watts per channel of output power! The VK-75 can also be fully upgraded to VK-150 mono-block status to maintain the same exciting upgrade path that continues to differentiate BAT from its competition.

VK-75SE

The VK-75SE is an exciting special edition version of the VK-75. This superlative special-edition incorporates the same 6H30 SuperTube (first offered in the reference VK-50SE ) into the first stage of the amplifier's circuit design. This 6H30 driver stage relies upon a dedicated 6V6 vacuum-tube as its constant current source, and the entire front-end circuit is driven by a new dedicated power supply. The result is the same special-edition magic that has catapulted BAT's SE preamplifiers and CD player to the forefront of the high-end industry!

VK-150SE:

The VK-150SE is the mono-block version of the VK-75SE and offers an outstanding 150 watts per channel. These are the reference tube mono-blocks that you have long-awaited from BAT! And yes, the VK-75SE can be fully upgraded to the VK-150SE as well!

With 125 watts per channel available into eight ohm loads, and 250 watts per channel into four ohm loads, the VK-220 power amplifier is a compact power-house! To continue BAT's reputation for providing the highest levels of refined energy storage, an innovative BAT-PAK^TM option is available.  The VK-250 BAT-PAK^TM incorporates the knowledge gained during the design of the highly acclaimed VK-31SE and VK-51SE line-stage preamplifiers as well as VK-P10SE SUPER-PAK^TM.
